Though the story premises is not an original one, the repackaging is done exceptionally well. The main driving force of the movie is the music, background score (by Anirudh), and cinematorgraphy. The gore and violence is plentiful throughout the runtime. The natural and organic chemistry that develops between Das and Chandra is plesant to watch. Overall the movie theatre experience was engaging.
