Matthieu Tota, is the son of professional footballer AndrĂ© Tota and his mother is Brigitte Tota. His parents divorced in 1998 when he was just 13. As a child, he studied at an elementary school in Hohberg, and later at CollĂšge Paul-Ămile Victor in Mundolsheim, and LycĂ©e Aristide Briand inSchiltigheim near Strasbourg.
