Jean-Pierre DorlĂ©ac (born Jerome Benson Paine; 12 April 1943 â 23 July 2026) was an American costume designer whose work has appeared in film, television, theatre, variety, opera and burlesque. Despite the surname, he was not related to the DorlĂ©ac family, and was born to an American military family. He first assumed the name in 1972 for a stage production of Marat/Sade.
