This is my very first review here on TMDB! I have only in recent years discovered Navy Log and enjoy watching any episodes I can get my hands on. Out of 102 total episodes, I have perhaps 30 or so and am hoping (but not holding my breath here) that some legit company might find all extant episodes and make then available for purchase. I am a Navy veteran myself, so watching these episodes, despite the occasional corny acting, can strike a familiar note with me even though my Navvy service is much more recent in nature. There are lots of familiar faces, future stars of both film and TV who made appearances as various characters on this series. The true stories, told in a anthology style form of storytelling, are usually pretty concise for 30 minutes each. SO, I consider it a worthy show, especially if you've ever been in the US Navy or USMC yourself or had a family member or close friend who has been so you can get an idea of wartime stories and the various rituals of everyday life and adventure while serving.
