Once upon a time to pay for college I was a photographer, so lighting can really break something for me, and the lighting in Whitechapel mostly sucks. They don't know how to light on location night scenes, they don't know how to light for drama. I understand it's not exactly high budget but there are still things you can do to add drama, to not make it look washed out. At least adjust the contrast a bit... they really did none of it. It irritates me to no end.\ \ But, the acting is good, the story is good. Seems well liked for people who aren't as anal as me.
