Terrible ham fisted acting. Just an absolute waste of time. Had some score that made it feel like I was watching a Spielberg film, real hopeful music, plus the sci-fi premise seemed roght up my alley, but between the god awful acting and the shitty cgi monster, there wasn't enough to keep me watching. Waste of time.

I enjoyed this up until the very end. **[SPOILERS AHEAD]** The final episode got so predictable that it pulled me out of the show. Anneliese stabs Judy and of course they drag her along to the trap house "in case they need a bargaining chip". Then she dies in the same room as Mother and... Why not just have Mother heal her before she dies? By the time we get to this scene, we all know Mother's blood heals. They do some arse-covering by showing that Mother's blood isn't healing Anneliese's gunshot wound quickly, but that doesn't mean it wasn't doing anything. Furthermore, Sam could have simply asked Mother if there was anything she could do BEFORE JUDY DIED. Instead we get this drawn out scene of Judy dying, just for Mother to resurrect her, which I'm gonna assume we all assumed was gonna happen! Everyone's just standing around watching Judy die and no one asks Mother, "Hey, can you help her?". REALLY?! Then there's Blaine. It's like the creators of this show don't realize their audience includes people who have seen hundreds if not thousands of scenes like this. Was I really supposed to think that Blaine was dead and be pikachu shocked when he wasn't dead? Was that a Duffer Brothers special? SMH. T'was a somewhat disappointing final episode to an otherwise good first season.
