If you remember the now legendary bank heist, shoot out, from the movie Heat, with Val Kilmer and Al Pacino, Criminal Code is essentially that scene on steroids, stretched across a series. Suffice to say this series offers wall to wall action, with a decent back story and quality characterisations, to round things out. I happily watched Criminal Code over two evenings, without pause. There's a dash of the usual woke BS but thankfully, its been dialled down, so its not overly in your face. In summary, a decent crime action series from Brazil, that pushes the majority of the right buttons. Definitely worth a look.
