After Tum gains leadership of Nuea-in gang through a superstitious vow, he experiences horrible luck. When Oh, the leader of Pathumphaisan gang, steals his gang's badge, Nuea-in's members begin to question whether Tum deserves his new position. Realising it all stems from not fulfilling his vow, he soon sets out on a nine-temple merit-making journey. His bad luck doesn't end there, though: surprisingly, Oh is also on the same mission, and they find themselves forced to cooperate.

Upon discovering that the Nuea-in gang plans to ambush Oh during the merit making trip, Tum and Oh reach an uneasy agreement to have each other's backs until their trip to the nine temples is complete. But the more they rely on each other, the closer they begin to get, prompting some uninvited feelings.

When Tum and Oh's visit to temple number eight is interrupted by the Nuea-in gang, the duo decide to come back the next day, and instead choosing to spend time at a temple fair. After a night of heartfelt, personal conversations, they return to the eighth temple, only to be ambushed by the Nuea-in gang, who insist that Tum retrieve his badge from Oh in front of their eyes.

Following the events at the eighth temple, Tum decides to prove his feelings for Oh, even as he is met with resistance. With the final showdown between the Nuea-in and Pathumphaisan gangs on the horizon, Tum decides to go all-in on the day of the fight to prove how much he likes Oh.
