Oakes and Matt must form a search party to find them. Wendy and Susan find themselves caught in a dead end when the bear attacks. White Fang must hold the bear off until Sgt. Oakes and Matt come to the rescue. Wendy and Susan regret running away, and the young cub promises to wait patiently until he is big enough to go on the hunt.
